We show you the best runs in Salzburg and eastern Tirol. The local ski and mountain guides know the best spots and make sure that your off piste adventure is as save as possible.
We use lifts to get to the powder. Sometimes it needs a little hike, often we hit the powder right from the top station of a gondola.
In the morning we check weather report and avalanche bulletin. So we get a good idea where the conditions are best and safest. Then we decide which resort we will ski at.
We are accommodated in center of Salzburg county – around Zell am See. Close to Zell am See we have 7 resorts situated close enough to reach them within 10-30 min by car. The chance on powder gets significantly bigger thanks to the variety of options.
All guides hold full Austrian qualification as “Berg und Skiführer” or “Staatlicher Skilehrer und Skiführer” and have min. 20 years of professional experience.
We provide avalanche beeper ( 3 antennas), probe, shovel and backpack for free for our guests. This equipment is a must.
We know our runs in and out. After our day in the snow the guides get in contact in order to talk about the current sow conditions in the different parts of our playground.
Daily check of avalanche bulletin, snow report, weather report, web cams, precipitation radar, satellite pictures…
Before we meet in the powder we would like to have a brief talk on the phone or on skype. We want to know more about your wishes and experiences. Gladly we help you to find the right date, accomodation and equipment.
If you would like to rent out freeride or touring skis we gladly support you. We get you in contact with our partners. Also avalanche airbags are offered by the local rental.
We beg for your understanding that we can only accept private bookings – so you cannot join a group of other skiers. If you book “Powder Clinics”, “Freeride Guiding” or “Skitouring” you can book as an existing group of friends up to 6 persons.
